Classes are. subject to change based on number of students per class. Technique will be taught at the level of the majority of students attending the class.

Classes taught by Artistic Director Valeria Scannura and Co- Artistic Director Anjelica Scannura. Classes may also be taught by members of the Ritmo Flamenco Dance & Music Ensemble. Valeria Scannura is a graduate of the National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Programme and has been teaching flamenco for over 20 years. Anjelica, daughter of Roger and Valeria Scannura is also an accomplished teacher, choreographer and dancer and lends her talents and expertise to Ritmo Flamenco’s roster of classes. All classes at the school follow the basic principles of flamenco dance with respect to traditional forms and allow the student to advance their strength and capacity for understanding the art form. Many classes are accompanied by renowned flamenco guitarist Roger Scannura. Specialized workshops motivate students of all levels to excel at the rhythmical roots of flamenco in understanding compass and the art of palmas.
